MATOR is a Bulgarian engineering startup operating across Europe, founded in March 2020 by a small and highly experienced team of engineers. Our mission is to support small and growing companies in developing their business through custom machines and industrial automation solutions.
Our services are built on more than 14 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and industrial automation. We combine strong engineering expertise with a practical, results-driven approach, always aiming for efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions. We believe in a win-win strategy—creating real value for our customers while building long-term partnerships based on trust and performance.
MATOR operates a 200 sq. m. manufacturing facility and office in Sofia, Bulgaria, equipped for both metal and wood processing. This allows us to design, manufacture, and test our solutions in-house, ensuring full control over quality and execution.

GALINA ANGELOVA, PhD
Co-Founder
PhD in Hygienic Design for the Food Industry with BSc and MSc degrees from UFT, Plovdiv. University lecturer with professional experience as a Design Engineer of food packaging machines, Production Manager in steel structures manufacturing, and Product Manager in the amusement industry. She combines strong engineering expertise with practical manufacturing and product development experience.
NEDKO PERCHEMLIEV
Founder & CEO
PhD student in Industrial Automation with BSc and MSc degrees from UCTM, Sofia. He has eight years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a leading chemical plant. He is the initiator and driving force behind the company, combining deep automation expertise with hands-on machine building and business development. His practical approach ensures reliable, efficient, and industry-ready solutions.
HRISTO NEDELCHEV
Production engineer
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with German language, graduated from UCTM, Sofia. He has participated in internship programs at a leading chemical plant in Bulgaria and at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Germany. With interests in the fields of chemical technology, mechanical engineering and process control systems.
